About The Position

We are currently seeking an Analyst (Co-op) to join our Valuation & Litigation Support team for a four (4) month co-op term from January 2027 to April 2027. This diverse team of professionals works with clients on valuations for a wide range of purposes and applies analytical and technical skills as well as professional judgement to measure the value of business operations and intangible assets. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide independent and reliable business valuations that empower clients to make value-driven business decisions with confidence. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Working towards a CBV designation is an asset
  • Professional services experience, ideally in financial analysis and modeling is considered an asset
  • Experience in the preparation and analysis of financial statements is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Participate in business valuations, intellectual property valuations, financial modelling and purchase price allocations to help clients understand the value of their business and its components
  • Conduct industry and market research on trends, valuation multiples for relevant public companies and precedent transactions
  • Prepare cash flows, valuation models and other technical based analysis, projections and forecasts
  • Support the design and development of high-quality deliverables including engagement letters, reports, presentations and correspondence relating to merger, acquisition and financing transactions
  • Assist with the development of project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders
  • Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and develop
  • Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals
  • Work collaboratively with the client engagement team
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
