Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, MIS, or a related business field required
  • 1-3 years of trading or financial operations experience preferred
  • FINRA Series 65 required within 6 months of employment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time-management abilities
  • Superior client service and communication skills
  • Strong aptitude for technology and adaptability to change
  • Solid decision-making and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel

Nice To Haves

  • VBA experience preferred
  • Experience with rebalancing or trading order management systems (OMS) such as Orion Advisor Services, Eze Castle, Envestnet Tamarac, Moxy, RedBlack, Morningstar TRX, iRebal, TradeWarrior, or similar systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding client service to internal teams by answering inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and responding urgently to time-sensitive requests
  • Actively build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners
  • Collaborate with custodians, brokers, software vendors, and other industry contacts to research and resolve complex issues
  • Master multiple trading software systems and provide user support for troubleshooting
  • Support the implementation of a new rebalancing system, including running parallel portfolio rebalances, analyzing variances, and communicating with the software vendor as needed
  • Execute trades requested by internal teams, ensuring accuracy and quality by following established checklists and guidelines
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple high-urgency tasks
  • Review and update trading system settings to optimize trading efficiency and precision
  • Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly cross-checks to support operational integrity
  • Recommend and assist with improvements to processes and systems, continually seeking out opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Contribute to projects involving new software discovery, onboarding new firms to current systems, and process enhancement initiatives leveraging available technology
