About The Position
Lazard is seeking an Analyst with relevant full time experience to join the Technology team in San Francisco as an integral member of a focused group who will receive meaningful exposure to both senior bankers and client executives alike. Technology Analysts work on a variety of strategic transactions for leading and emerging companies spanning the following verticals: Software, Internet, Hardware and Semiconductors. Lazard is differentiated among the leading investment banks in our history of investing in employees and developing them into successful senior bankers.
Requirements
- Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
- At least one year of full-time experience in investment banking, and a passion for the Technology industry
- Strong quantitative background and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, FactSet, Bloomberg and Pitchbook
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture
- Fluency in the use of AI tools and prompt engineering
Responsibilities
- Create and prepare client presentations and marketing materials
- Build complex financial models and perform valuation and other analytical exercises
- Conduct detailed industry research and competitive analyses
- Execute deal processes, support due diligence and liaise with the client or other advisors
