About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or a related field. Instead of a degree, we may consider equivalent industry experience.
Familiarity with version control platforms such as Git (Required)
Basic scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript) for QA automation or software testing (Required)
API Automation Testing using Postman (Required)
Automation of REST APIs (Required)
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

2-4 years of related work experience. (Preferred)
Experience in testing methods such as functional testing, regression testing usability testing, or automated testing, depending on the industry (Preferred)
Experience using defect tracking tools like JIRA (Preferred)
Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to work closely with developers, engineers, or operations teams to resolve quality issues (Preferred)
Experience with Playwright with TypeScript (Preferred)
Automation Framework maintenance (Preferred)
GitLab CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Developing and executing test cases to diagnose issues and bugs, and creating robust and stable software solutions.
Identifying, isolating, and tracking bugs throughout testing.
Recording test progress and results.
Creating logging and tracking systems that can be used by other team members and for future troubleshooting.
Collaborating with the development team to discuss performance issues and brainstorm potential improvements.
Coordinating with other team members to refine test cases.
Reviewing software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
Conducting regression testing, documenting results, and suggesting enhancements.
Utilizing tools for automated testing to streamline the testing process and increase efficiency.
Assessing code releases for quality and reliability before they are deployed in a live environment.
Ensuring quality user experience and interface functionality.
Maintaining updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
