About The Position
Bain Capital Tech Opportunities is hiring Analysts for summer 2027. This is a full-time role based in Boston. The ideal candidates will have a strong academic record and prior internship experience in relevant fields such as investment firms, investment banks, consulting firms, sales teams, tech startups, or entrepreneurship. The role involves evaluating investment opportunities through fundamental strategic analysis and financial modeling, serving as the front line in contacting and evaluating entrepreneurs to generate proprietary investment opportunities, and developing relationships within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Requirements
- Strong academic record from a top undergraduate school.
- Prior internship experience within an investment firm, investment bank, consulting firm, sales team, tech startups and/or personal experience as an entrepreneur.
- Self-motivated, creative thinker with strong commercial instincts.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and selling skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively.
- Track record of innovative AI usage.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate investment opportunities through fundamental strategic analysis and financial modeling.
- Serve as the front line in contacting and evaluating entrepreneurs to generate proprietary investment opportunities.
- Develop relationships with outstanding entrepreneurs.
- Partner with exceptional entrepreneurs and management teams to help them succeed through critical phases of growth and expansion.
- Provide flexible capital, strategic and operational resources, and deep industry expertise backed by the global reach of the Bain Capital platform.
