About The Position

The Analyst, U.S. International Tax will work with US-based international tax professionals on various US international tax fronts, including preparing the U.S. international components of tax provisions, providing assistance with global transfer pricing workstreams, annual U.S. international tax returns, and other international tax needs on ad hoc basis. As the Analyst, Tax you will be responsible for assisting with U.S. international tax provisions and supporting the global tax planning team in all aspects of international tax issues (approx. 80% of the time). This role will also help prepare U.S. International tax returns, IRS audit responses, and foreign tax authority inquires related to international tax issues (approx. 20% of the time). You will be required to attend the Louisville, KY office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
  • At least 2 years of experience in international tax/accounting areas.
  • Strong track record of working closely with various groups within a corporate structure (e.g. treasury, finance, operations)

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree with CPA certification or other higher education equivalent preferred
  • Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Strong track record of project management, problem solving, process improving, strategic thinking and effective business communication skills.
  • Extended experience and proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Power Query.
  • Experience with Hyperion, JD Edwards, OneSource Income Tax and other data analytic software desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and/or assist with U.S. international tax provisions on a quarterly basis, calculating E&P, GILTI, Subpart F Income, foreign tax credit pools, tax effects of dividend distributions, and Sec. 961 CFC stock basis.
  • Prepare and/or assist with preparing US International tax returns, obtaining US tax residency certificates, and US tax elections.
  • Assist with preparation of transfer pricing documentation, gather and validate financial information used in transfer pricing analyses.
  • Assist with country-by-country reporting and transfer pricing disclosures where required.
  • Support business priorities and initiatives.
  • Assist with intercompany agreements and corporate resolutions supporting corporate transactions.
