Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, or inventory analytics — ideally in multi site distribution, field service, or HVAC.
  • Statistical demand forecasting with seasonality and promo overlays.
  • Strong inventory fundamentals: safety stock, reorder points, fill rate trade offs, MOQ economics.
  • Hands on with planning systems (e.g., Slimstock), ERP, and inventory platforms.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI (DAX, dashboards).
  • Strong cross functional communication and influence.

Nice To Haves

  • ML based forecasting exposure.
  • IFS FSM / 360 Scheduler familiarity.
  • HVAC seasonality and commodity dynamics (copper, A2L refrigerant).
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Demand forecasting: Build SKU/branch forecasts incorporating seasonality, weather, trend, and promo uplifts.
  • Supply planning: Generate time phased replenishment, transfers, and pre season build ahead plans; manage safety stock, reorder points, and MOQ thresholds.
  • S&OP cadence: Own analyst inputs into the monthly demand/supply review and consensus meeting.
  • Promo readiness: Pre promo supply check, mid promo burn rate tracking, post promo wind down to avoid residual stock.
  • Analytics & reporting: Maintain Power BI dashboards for forecast accuracy, fill rate, stock out risk, aged inventory, and weeks of supply.
  • Continuous improvement: Drive forecast accuracy, working capital reduction, and network optimization.
  • Calculate financial impact of vendor price changes, leverage consumption and historical factors to determine annual spend impact to be used in negotiations with suppliers
  • Generate and publish vendor scorecards monthly, measuring critical supply chain KPI’s
  • Reporting: Develop and publish various Supply Chain reports
