About The Position

This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA. Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You. This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical business partner to both our sustainability team and global purchasing organization (Hilton Supply Management or “HSM”). As an Analyst, Supply Chain & Sustainability Reporting on the Consolidations, External Reporting & Technical Accounting team reporting to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain and Sustainability Reporting, you will support timely and accurate accounting and reporting for HSM and help prepare Hilton to comply with global sustainability reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of work experience, including internship experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (power query, pivot tables)
  • Experience analyzing large datasets
  • Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA

Nice To Haves

  • Accounting or related business degree
  • Experience with Microsoft platform tools (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI), process automation, and CoPilot
  • Experience analyzing sustainability data and/or familiarity with common frameworks and standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, GRI)
  • Procurement accounting or group purchasing organization (GPO) experience

Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close and reporting activities for HSM, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Support HSM business and FP&A teams with all finance and accounting related needs.
  • Aid sustainability reporting readiness by monitoring global regulatory developments, documenting policies and data controls, and helping with gap analyses for new disclosure requirements.
  • Support implementation and ongoing enhancements of tools used to report supply chain sustainability metrics (e.g., greenhouse gas emissions), partnering with technology and procurement teams to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supporting documentation for new or updated accounting and sustainability data processes, including controls to support audit readiness.
