About The Position

We are looking for a thoughtful, analytical professional to help shape smarter sourcing decisions through data-driven insight. In this role, you will build and evaluate cost models using financial data, market research, current spending trends, and commodity supply analysis to help guide management decisions. You’ll turn complex information into clear, actionable recommendations and play an important part in improving systems, policies, and procedures across the business. You’ll collect, organize, and interpret data from a variety of internal and external sources to identify major expenditures, pricing variances, savings opportunities, and key business trends. You’ll also maintain category-level databases that track market consumption, supplier activity, industry capacity, forecasts, and other essential information. Your ability to connect the dots across data sets will support both daily decision-making and long-term planning. Success in this role means developing a strong understanding of commodity markets, supply chain dynamics, supplier economics, and major cost drivers. You’ll perform financial and ratio analysis on potential supply partners, monitor post-contract compliance and savings, support satisfaction surveys, and help address supplier and stakeholder concerns. You’ll also contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, while creating presentations that highlight procurement strategy, risks, opportunities, and performance outcomes.
