The Public Sector Sales Strategy Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Public Sector Business Unit, the fastest growing business unit at Salesforce. This role is hybrid of traditional jobs in strategic planning, sales operations, finance, and sales analytics - requiring a mix of data analysis, sales optimization and business operational support. This role will support the Global Public Sector sales organization and be directly involved in driving the continued success of Salesforce by supporting our growth strategy. Sample projects range from the strategic to the tactical initiatives including supporting day-to-day operations, quarterly forecast process, territory planning, and reporting automation. Deliverables include detailed analytic models, custom performance analysis, building an automated, scalable reporting infrastructure, and packaging findings into presentation-ready content for Salesforce executives. The role requires interaction and trust with various areas of the organization and provides exposure to senior executives. The successful candidate will have relentless curiosity, strong problem solving skills, great interpersonal skills, and possess a passion for automating everything manual and creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities.
