About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Securities Operations, the Analyst, Investment Operations provides support across a range of capital markets and investment operations activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to how institutional investment processes are executed and supported, with opportunities to contribute to operational workflows, projects, and process improvements. The Analyst will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, gaining experience across multiple areas while developing technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Finance or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high level of attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with data and technology; experience with Adobe, Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, Python or VBA is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable working with different teams.

  • Exposure to financial products (e.g., equities, bonds, derivatives) is an asset.
  • Willing to assume other responsibilities as required.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day Investment Operations functions across capital markets, such as derivatives trade documentation, trade capture of capital market instruments, settlement and treasury management.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including documenting workflows and identifying opportunities for efficiency and control enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain clear and comprehensive process documentation and procedures.
  • Help test and support business processes for new investment products and strategies.
  • Conduct research and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
  • Take on additional tasks and projects that support team priorities and learning.
