Entergy's Power Generation group operates a fleet of more than 30 owned, leased, or operated natural gas, coal, oil hydro, solar and petroleum coke plants, with a total engineering capacity exceeding 20,000 megawatts. Entergy continues to build or acquire megawatts from new hydrogen capable natural gas units, solar, wind and other technologies complement its existing megawatts of nuclear, natural gas, coal, oil, hydroelectric, and solar facilities. The Project Costs Analyst will support Entergy’s Power Generation Budget Planning and Risk Management Team and Finance Business Partners, while being solely responsible for providing both Capital and O&M project controls oversight and forecasting support. This position will report into the Commercial Asset Management group that sits under the newly created Smart Operations Center in Power Generation located in The Woodlands, Texas. The center includes among other areas, remote operations, plant monitoring, analytics, and asset management for various existing and future resources around the fleet. The analyst will serve as the main point of contact for Plant leadership, Project Managers, Finance and Generation leadership for project life cycle management.
