Under the direction of the Director of Research, the Research and Evaluation Analyst (REA) is responsible for supporting the License-Exempt Health and Safety (LEHS) team’s work and broader agency’s research and data analysis needs and initiatives with regard to the license-exempt child care portion of Illinois Child Care Assistance Program caseload. The REA may work with Research Department members to design data collection, data collection tools such as forms and surveys, analyses and reports for purposes of management of the LEHS program and health and safety training, as well as continuous quality improvement and evaluation of the LEHS program and related quality support services. In addition, the REA will support the LEHS program in its data collection, and lead or manage the data analysis and reporting on license exempt child care. The REA will manage cross-departmental and cross-program cooperation necessary to support the LEHS work to monitor and support quality improvement in license-exempt child care programs. The REA will work with managers and staff members across programs and departments in identifying data-related operational needs; and help to promote, implement, and support a sustainable data-informed work culture and operations. All work to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards.
