About The Position

This position supports Crude, Refined Products, and NGLs facilities principally by preparing tariff filings and various reports to be filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and multiple State Agencies. Performs analytical work related to FERC and multiple State Agencies' compliance. Works closely with other groups such as Business Development, Accounting, Regulatory, Data Administration, Contract Administration, Operations, Auditors, IT, and Legal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience and demonstrated equivalent competency may supplant the bachelor’s degree.
  • 2-5 years of related experience and experience with tariff filing packaging software a plus.
  • Exhibit strong mathematical, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills.
  • Personable, positive and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work cross-functionally across the organization and support both internal and external customers.
  • Must have solid time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines, and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Common Carrier Tariff Filings, Audit Regulations, and Compliance matters with the various regulatory agencies.
  • Research regulated tariff filings, orders, and policies.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of ET's common carrier pipeline systems and corresponding contractual data.
  • Compile, study, and maintain indexation schedule workbooks and searchable rate tables.
  • Serve as a secondary tariff reviewer and provide administrative functions within the Tariff Approval Process (TAP) program.
  • Support the department’s response to quarterly and annual audit testing for SOX controls.
  • Respond to routine e-mails sent to the Tariff Mailbox and manage the Common Carrier website.
  • Maintain the electronic repository of files which will include but not necessarily be limited to correspondence, emails, filed documents, tariff subscriber lists, and proration policies.
  • Aid with the development of IT programs by testing and providing feedback.
  • Communicate with other groups in the partnership to develop relationships and coordinate efforts.
  • Attend tariff-related conferences and seminars.
