NRECA is seeking a Quality & Training Analyst to join our Insurance & Financial Services team in Lincoln, Nebraska. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or college coursework plus 2+ years of quality assessment and training experience or applicable subject matter expertise, within the medical insurance or retirement plan services industry.
  • Knowledge of applicable processing policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • General knowledge of employee benefits gained through education or experience.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize work, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and recommend constructive solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, build positive working relationships, and provide timely follow-up.
  • Strong customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in all responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to report to the office as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with quality assessments, assisting with the creation of educational materials and training aids, and supporting the training and onboarding of staff.
  • Experience within the insurance industry working with medical insurance plans or experience within the financial services industry working with retirement plans.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and/or DOL regulations related to defined benefit plan administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the delivery of training programs, contributes to training materials and aids, and may assist with routine training delivery.
  • Reviews employee processing work and member service calls for timeliness, quality, accuracy, and productivity within assigned business areas.
  • Assists with updating and organizing standard operating procedures in partnership with the Quality Assurance team and business areas, as needed.
  • May process escalated member-facing claims transactions requiring specialized knowledge.
