About The Position

The Quality Assurance Analyst I is responsible for assisting in the development, management, and execution of the quality assurance program at Hibbett I City Gear. The quality assurance program will cover all aspects of the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
1-2 years of experience working in IT and quality assurance.
Self-Starter.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
History of success in making change and achieving objectives.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and facilitate positive interpersonal relations with coworkers, business partners and contractors.

Nice To Haves

Experience working for a retail company preferred.
Mobile Device testing experience a plus.
Cloud and SAS environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Document test cases.
Perform and document risk analysis.
Record test progress and results.
Create test plans.
Assist in defining and implementing IT quality standards, processes, and procedures.
Develop working knowledge of all systems and applications involved in QA testing activities.
Assist in conducting regular quality system audits and work collaboratively with other Quality Assurance Analysts to improve compliance.
Assist in the structure and maintenance of quality KPIs for upper management.
Analyze defect data to identify trends and proactively work to improve quality.
Communicate the status, results, and impacts of corrective actions to the appropriate stakeholders.
Assist in the development and maintenance of a process to identify, monitor, and control risks to IT service delivery.
Develop and maintain a process to ensure the requirements of projects and products are delivered in the associated work products.
Participate in and review design control activities.
Champion continuous improvement efforts to meet or exceed quality objectives.
Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
Discover bugs, issues, and errors in software.
Other tasks as assigned by senior team members.
Protects the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
