About The Position

The Quality Assurance Analyst I is responsible for assisting in the development, management, and execution of the quality assurance program at Hibbett I City Gear. The quality assurance program will cover all aspects of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in IT and quality assurance.
  • Self-Starter.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • History of success in making change and achieving objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and facilitate positive interpersonal relations with coworkers, business partners and contractors.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for a retail company preferred.
  • Mobile Device testing experience a plus.
  • Cloud and SAS environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Document test cases.
  • Perform and document risk analysis.
  • Record test progress and results.
  • Create test plans.
  • Assist in defining and implementing IT quality standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop working knowledge of all systems and applications involved in QA testing activities.
  • Assist in conducting regular quality system audits and work collaboratively with other Quality Assurance Analysts to improve compliance.
  • Assist in the structure and maintenance of quality KPIs for upper management.
  • Analyze defect data to identify trends and proactively work to improve quality.
  • Communicate the status, results, and impacts of corrective actions to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a process to identify, monitor, and control risks to IT service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a process to ensure the requirements of projects and products are delivered in the associated work products.
  • Participate in and review design control activities.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts to meet or exceed quality objectives.
  • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
  • Discover bugs, issues, and errors in software.
  • Other tasks as assigned by senior team members.
  • Protects the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
