.Net Developer
About The Position
We are seeking an Analyst/Programmer Specialist to support and develop custom applications across the agency. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET/MVC, MuleSoft, Azure, SQL, and Java/Spring. This role will support existing applications, APIs, integrations, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions while also helping design and implement new applications to meet business needs. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other agencies in an Agile development environment and will contribute to establishing consistent development standards across projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a .NET or Full-Stack Developer.
- At least 2 years of strong hands-on MuleSoft experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with ASP.NET/MVC and .NET.
- At least 2 years of experience with C#.
- At least 2 years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
- At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile development environment.
- At least 2 years of experience with Java and Spring Framework.
- Strong software development, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidate must currently reside in Indiana.
- Selected candidate must be able to work full-time onsite in Indianapolis.
- Position requires 37.5 hours per week.
- Candidate must be eligible for full-time employment without requiring sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting or integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience with Talend for data integration and data transfer.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with Azure WebJobs and Azure-based application services.
- Experience working with enterprise application integrations.
- Microsoft MCSD/MCSE certification.
- One or more Cloud Certifications.
- Experience applying AI technologies to software development or business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support custom applications across the agency.
- Design and implement applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET MVC.
- Develop and support MuleSoft APIs and integrations across agency systems.
- Support existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications and integrations.
- Maintain and enhance applications developed using .NET, Java, Spring, and other technologies.
- Develop and maintain Azure WebJobs and other Azure-based application components.
- Support Talend and MuleSoft solutions used for data transfer and system integration.
- Work with various database technologies and develop efficient SQL queries.
- Analyze existing applications and implement enhancements, fixes, and performance improvements.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new systems and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, IT teams, developers, and other agencies to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in Agile development activities including planning, development, testing, code reviews, and deployment.
- Follow and help establish agency-wide development standards, coding practices, and design patterns.
- Evaluate and adopt appropriate new technologies and development approaches.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and production issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing within the development team.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
