About The Position

Lument provides comprehensive capital solutions for multifamily, affordable housing, seniors housing and health care services companies. This includes a full suite of financing and strategic solutions such as investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, mortgage banking, private equity, a variety of direct balance sheet lending options, and investment sales. The Mergers & Acquisitions group is seeking an Analyst or Associate to contribute to the growth of the business, focusing on the seniors healthcare industry and ancillary services. The Analyst or Associate will be an integral part of the team, responsible for a variety of technical analysis related to new and existing clients, lead research and development, produce routine reports such as quarterly public company earnings and activities. Lument is currently seeking to hire a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst or Associate for its Columbus, Ohio or other regional Lument office locations considered such as New York and Dallas. The M&A advisory group within Lument has a lean senior team, led by Wall Street veterans who focus exclusively on sell-side, sale/lease-back, operator replacement, ESOP, and JV/equity capital deployment advisory and will offer an Analyst or Associate transaction exposure typical of more senior professionals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supports senior bankers in transaction execution and client management Performs financial analysis and valuation modeling Creates offering memoranda, Power Point presentations, and other collateral Conducts industry research and business due diligence Individuals will be assigned a wide variety of projects and given as much responsibility as their experience and capabilities permit. Contacts This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management. In addition, this role interacts with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 2-3 years of direct M&A (or highly relevant) experience or MBA with at least 1 year of direct M&A (or highly relevant) experience
  • Active FINRA Series 79 and 63 certifications preferred, or obtained within 60 days of start date
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint along with other financial industry tools
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated self-starter with proven experience working both individually and in a team setting
  • Position requires focus and attention to detail, an independent, self-starter mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment adjusting to varied workloads
