About The Position

The Analyst will support the reporting and revenue optimization function within the Suite Sales and Service group by delivering business intelligence and data-driven insights that drive YOY revenue growth across all premium products. This role will focus on maintaining and enhancing Tableau reporting, developing scalable analytics solutions, and providing actionable insights across single-event rentals, club and suite licenses, and other ancillary premium revenue streams. The Analyst will partner closely with Premium Solutions, Ticketing Strategy, and MSG’s Data & Analytics team to support forecasting, inventory strategy, and the continued development of Tableau dashboards and reporting infrastructure that enable informed decision-making specific to the premium business.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 2+ years experience in business analytics
  • Proficient in Tableau as well as in one or more data analysis tools (R, Python, SQL, etc.)
  • Strong MS Office skill level (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Highly advanced analytical skills and ability to learn new reporting platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop relationships across multiple business groups
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex findings and analytical concepts to a broad audience
  • Proactive and outgoing with project management and the ability to unify people around multiple projects

  • Background in pricing strategy and/or sports & entertainment a plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Premium Solutions, Ticketing Sales Strategy, and Data & Analytics teams to support on-sale and dynamic pricing strategies through performance analysis and data-driven recommendations
  • Support premium inventory and pricing strategy, including optimization of inventory mixture and dynamic pricing, to ensure maximum sell-through and revenue generation
  • Analyze premium client behavior, purchase trends, and utilization patterns to inform license renewal strategy, prospecting efforts, and opportunities to increase premium revenue
  • Own the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Tableau dashboards and reporting that track performance across all premium products and provide actionable insights to Suite Sales & Service leadership around premium inventory performance, revenue trends, and sales activity
  • Identify and implement improvements to reporting infrastructure, dashboard design, and analytics workflows in both Tableau and Salesforce to increase efficiency, data accessibility, and data-driven decision-making across the premium organization
  • Work with Sales Analytics and Performance Marketing to help optimize the premium customer journey and incorporate AI tools where relevant
