About The Position

This position is responsible for all payroll-related activities, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, computing and disbursing wages, deductions, taxes, and other withholdings, posting payroll data, preparing reports and/or payments to government agencies and insurance companies, testing and updating payroll system, and assisting employees with payroll related questions.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; flexibility in schedule is required.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Accounting or related field
• Four to five years of practical payroll and tax work experience in a large, complex organization
• Demonstrated experience working with Workday Payroll related modules is preferred
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

• FPC or CPP certification preferred
