What you’ll be doing… We have a great opportunity in our Accounts Receivable (AR) Payments Reconciliation Team. You’ll be working on a variety of core accounting activities such as preparing journal entries, verifying records, balancing accounts and resolving errors. Our financials can get a bit complicated, and we have a few government regulations we’ve got to comply with as well. But our finance team is the best in the business—join the team that keeps our financial operations accurate, compliant, and running like clockwork.

Requirements

One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Knowledge of FASB requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and accounting best practices.
Experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Knowledge of accounting systems and applications such as SAP, ReconNET, Optimus Fintech, CPM/Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, Blackline, SQL or relevant systems and applications.
CPA certification (or are in the process of getting certified).

Responsibilities

Prepare financial reports and account reconciliations.
Balancing cash accounts.
Monitor and reconcile daily payment transactions, merchant accounts, and bank settlements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Analyze failed transactions, chargebacks, and payment processing errors to resolve root causes.
Check reports and fixing errors.
Run models and updating databases.
Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end close activities.
Review the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.
