About The Position

Enhance operational reliability through process audits, compliance monitoring, and well‑structured, audit‑ready documentation that improves the flow and accessibility of organizational knowledge. Conducts comprehensive audits to assess performance and compliance while confirming alignment with contractual obligations, agreements, processes, procedures, and internal standards. Oversee the lifecycle and governance of operational documents and drives data‑informed improvements, automation opportunities, and continuous process optimization across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Law, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3 years' experience in audits, compliance, process improvement, documentation management, or technical writing.
  • Experience with audits, Request for Information (RFI), process evaluation, documentation design, operational improvements, technical writer skills.
  • Compliance basic principles.
  • Technical Skills: Auditing basic processes, Documentation development (SOPs, procedures, work instructions), Knowledge management systems, Version control and document lifecycle management, Process evaluation and improvement, Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, Familiar with project management tools.
  • Required: Valid Puerto Rico driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Energy utility experience preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role.
  • High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 5 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role.
  • Preferred: Fundamentals of Compliance Certificate
  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt, Green Belt preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Standardizes operational work methods and documentation by creating consistent structures, formats, and guidelines that ensure clarity and alignment across operations.
  • Manages and maintains the full lifecycle of operational documents by designing frameworks for organizing and securely storing knowledge, enforcing version control, and ensuring documentation meets regulatory, quality, and audit standards.
  • Gathers and analyzes operational and compliance data through research, interviews, observations, and structured data collection to identify trends, gaps, and deviations that inform operational understanding.
  • Translates collected insights into actionable information by preparing reports, dashboards, and business cases, monitoring compliance indicators, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to implement tools that streamline data collection and improve operations.
  • Performs internal audits, monitors compliance indicators, and tracks obligations to identify non‑compliance issues and support appropriate corrective actions.
  • Conducts risk assessments based on audit results to inform mitigation strategies and strengthen adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
  • Analyzes existing processes to recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
  • Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
  • Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
