About The Position

Sabre Systems is hiring an Analyst, Journeyman to support a U.S. Navy customer. This program provides readiness and sustainment support to improve operational availability and mission effectiveness while controlling cost and optimizing constrained resources. Uses collaborative, data-driven operating models that include end-to-end readiness ecosystems (operations, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, manpower/training, and financial management). AI-enabled approaches are a desired element of the solution to improve the speed, scale, and consistency of analysis and decision support. The work includes producing readiness assessments and decision-support products; establishing and maintaining consistent readiness metrics and reporting; and integrating data from multiple authoritative and legacy sources to deliver actionable analytics and dashboards. Advanced analytics and, where appropriate, AI/ML techniques (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, natural language processing of maintenance narratives) are used to identify readiness drivers and constraints, improve predictive analytics, and inform trade-space decisions that balance near-term readiness with longer-term capability objectives, including Fleet legacy platform/systems sustainment and modernization transitions. The Analyst, Journeyman will be responsible for analyzing business or operating procedures to devise the most efficient method of accomplishing the work. In addition, the selected candidate will plan the study of work problems and procedures, gather and analyze data, organize and document findings of studies, and prepare recommendations for implementing new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. They will collate information into meaningful reports and presentation material, perform data management of database tables, data elements, reports, and other entities contained in reporting systems. The role involves analyzing project requirements including program scheduling, critical path analyses and project support/resource requirement determination. The candidate will fully participate in impact studies, cost/benefit analyses, dependency models, and employ appropriate project tracking methodologies. They will be capable of conducting root-cause, corrective action analysis, possess a working knowledge of statistics and be able to assess correlation, and produce visualizations to communicate findings through the use of tables and charts.

Requirements

BA/BS Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is required. Allowable substitution: Six years of additional related work experience.
A minimum of three (3) years of direct experience
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Commissioned Officer, senior enlisted or mid-level DoW government (E7-O4, GS 11-13) may be considered favorably.
Proficiency in Python or R is a highly favorable trait for all positions.
