About The Position

The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team is seeking an experienced Analyst for its Private Capital Markets group in our New York City office. In this role, you will participate in analyzing companies, develop strategies for clients, pull market and industry research, and complete a trading simulation within Investment Banking Mid-Year Program. You will review strategies for clients, build detailed financial models, analyze market data, and prepare client presentations related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables. You will receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area. You will collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, and interact with internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months of Equity Capital Markets/Investment Banking experience
  • Experience in Private Placement Capital Financing
  • Strong skill in financial modeling
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
