About The Position

The 2027 Technology, Data, AI & Ventures Summer Internship Program - Analyst Intern is a dynamic internship experience at New York Life designed to challenge interns through hands-on work experience. The program aims to equip interns with valuable skills, build their network through collaboration with talented interns and experienced employees, and provide opportunities for professional growth. Interns will engage in team-building activities, a collaborative intern capstone, and social events. The internship is focused on supporting projects that drive continuous improvement, standardization, and operational effectiveness across technology teams. Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign processes, document improvements, and support the adoption of shared frameworks, tools, and best practices. They will also analyze data and trends to inform decision-making, create dashboards and reports to monitor adoption and performance, and identify opportunities to improve operations through automation and enablement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
  • Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the 11-week Summer Internship Program (May to August).
  • Able to work in a hybrid environment, with three days per week on-site in New York City.
  • Passionate about technology, data, AI, and innovation, with a collaborative mindset and a desire to learn and make an impact.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no employment-based immigration sponsorship offered).
  • Not authorized to work under optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
  • Undergraduate or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Interest in financial services and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
