About The Position

As a Research Analyst Intern in the Markets Equity Research team, you will support industry and company-specific analysis, build financial models, and contribute to written research reports.

Requirements

Proven analytical skills, experience with quantitative and data analysis
Exceptional writing skills
Genuine interest in financial markets and economic data and trends
Ability to multi-task and collaborate within a team environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Enrolled in an undergraduate program from a local (New York City or San Francisco area) college/university
Expected graduation date of May 2027 or later, but no later than May 2029
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Must be enrolled in a degree conferring program at a U.S. university.
JPMorgan Chase will provide assistance with F-1 STEM optional practical training (OPT) and curricular practical training (CPT).

Responsibilities

Conduct industry analysis and provide company-specific coverage for the sector team.
Perform core research on the industry and its companies.
Model financials and forecasts.
Write First Call notes, company updates, new reports, and thematic pieces.
Communicate findings over the Hoot, at the Morning Meeting, and with clients
