Northland Capital Markets Analyst - Intern

Northland Securities•Minneapolis, MN
•Onsite

About The Position

Northland Capital Markets is an active investment bank serving growth companies, with practices in digital infrastructure, AI, and drones and robotics. The Analyst Intern role is the first step in Northland’s investment banking career path and precedes the full-time Analyst position. Interns work on live deal teams under the guidance of Analysts and Associates and alongside senior bankers, supporting public equity offerings, private placements, PIPEs, convertible securities transactions, and M&A advisory engagements. The role is demanding and requires performing under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and producing accurate work on short notice. Interns are expected to contribute meaningfully from the start, and exceptional performance is the primary pathway to a full-time Analyst offer. The role is anticipated to be onsite at the posted location. Northland describes its onsite environment as collaborative and designed to foster innovation, mentorship, professional growth, and working relationships. Work location may change based on business needs.
