About The Position

This role ensures stable and secure infrastructure by monitoring and configuring IT systems while maintaining accurate CMDB records and supporting ServiceNow integrations that enhance visibility and workflow efficiency. Monitors, maintains, and upgrades servers, virtual machines, storage systems, and related infrastructure to ensure performance and availability. Applies and validates operating system and application patches, implements security hardening, and ensures compliance across on‑prem and cloud environments. Builds, configures, and manages virtual machines and cloud resources in Azure or AWS to support scalable, reliable, and optimized operations. Executes maintenance windows, change implementations, and configuration updates while partnering with cross‑functional teams to minimize service disruptions. Manages and maintains Active Directory, Group Policy, and supporting operational technologies to enable consistent system integration and access control. Partners with cross-functional teams to implement improvements, perform configuration updates, and resolve technical issues. Troubleshoots and resolves issues across applications, networks, and systems, escalating to vendors or peer teams as needed to ensure timely remediation. Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations. Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services. Responsible for managing and maintaining infrastructure-related CMDB and asset records, ensuring configuration and inventory data is accurate and up to date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university.
  • 3 years of hands‑on experience managing IT infrastructure components such as servers, virtual machines, and Azure-based container workloads.
  • Experience with operating system administration (Windows, Linux, or both) and patch management processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting applications, networks, servers environments in a production environment.
  • Experience in Disaster Recovery exercises environments.
  • Solid knowledge of servers, virtual machines, storage platforms, and enterprise desktop computing environments.
  • Proficiency in operating systems, patch management, cybersecurity controls, and Linux ecosystem tools, including ServiceNow integrations.
  • Knowledge in Azure site administration and hybrid-cloud designs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot across applications, networks, and infrastructure components.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Cross‑team communication and collaboration skills.
  • Continuous learning orientation and adaptability to emerging technologies.
  • ITSM process engineering, workflow automation, Python scripting, batch job orchestration, Linux shell scripting, full‑stack Webserver using Python, bash, and Perl Scripting, Interface performance analysis, incident triage, root‑cause diagnostics, and server debugging.
