About The Position

LogicSource is seeking a temporary Analyst Strategic Sourcing – IT for its Client Services team, dedicated to a retail client. The role works closely with business stakeholders across IT, manages category reporting on spend, savings, lead times, and supplier management, supports supplier diversity programming, and serves as a conduit to the Client Services team. The position provides procurement and analytical support to the Indirect Procurement team and Category Directors, turning complex data into meaningful reports and actionable results. The role requires very limited to no travel. The position is based in a flexible, hybrid work environment, with offices in Westport, Connecticut, and Charleston, South Carolina.

The anticipated base pay range is $60,000–$100,000 USD. Final compensation depends on location, experience, and job-related factors, and may include additional benefits consistent with applicable pay transparency laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, economics, or accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience in analysis, financial reporting, and/or operational reporting roles.
• Fluency with reporting systems, internet research, and general forms of technical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis and planning.
• Ability to turn complex data into meaningful reports.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Exposure to strategic sourcing, procurement, contract administration, and/or project management processes.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask, make sound business decisions, and find hidden opportunities.

Nice To Haves

• IT analysis experience, including software, hardware, telecom, cybersecurity, data centers, or SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spend tools (One Market Insights) and other client data, producing meaningful interpretations and actionable results.
• Provide procurement and analytical support to the Indirect Procurement team.
• Collaborate with the client’s internal stakeholders to identify and secure relevant data for analysis.
• Track, monitor, and report on delivery of savings targets.
• Support development of Quarterly Business Reviews, including analytics on sourcing progress and savings results.
• Provide ongoing analytical support to Category Directors, including root cause analysis, cost pattern analysis, SRM development, supplier scorecarding, and total cost reviews.
• Support supplier diversity programming.
• Perform other duties as necessary and assigned.
