In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that implants are available for scheduled surgical procedures and collaborating with intradepartmental staff to facilitate the tracking and billing implants and high-cost disposable supply items. You’ll collaborate with physicians’ offices and clinical staff to anticipate implant requirements for scheduled surgical procedures. Additional responsibilities include ensuring availability of all implants for surgical procedures by managing appropriate inventory par levels and collaborating with vendors and Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to ensure timely delivery. This is a day shift position 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with programs such as Windows, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management Processes
  • Knowledge of Surgical Procedure Nomenclature

  • Experience in inventory control clinical supply chain
