This role leads process improvement initiatives within a Distribution Center using various tools and methodologies such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies to eliminate losses according to the Network Process Structure and Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs. The position involves delivering expected functional area results through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis, loss elimination, and creating standard work to reduce process variation. The Analyst II will also assist with reviewing and responding to process improvement projects owned by area managers, apply new network One Best Way playbooks, and provide input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities. Additionally, the role supports the tactical deployment of the WPS program methodology, manages project execution for top losses in the functional area, and assists in building the capability of other area managers and associates. This includes supporting area loss profile analysis, performance metrics, and developing gap analysis for WPS integration. The Analyst II will support Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements, and lead savings projects by identifying and removing losses from the process. The role also involves promoting and supporting company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. This includes coordinating and overseeing job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting initiatives, identifying goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and demonstrating adaptability. Furthermore, the role provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a culture of belonging. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and supporting company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity is also a key responsibility, achieved through implementing action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and providing guidance on business processes and practices.
