About The Position

The Pricing Strategy & Planning, Analyst II is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing activities of the organization through pricing research, strategy development, and market analysis. This role helps in gathering critical data, developing initial pricing strategies, and assisting in financial modeling to contribute to Takeda's mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, or 4 years relevant work experience.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities in order to maximize results.
  • Pays close attention to project deadlines and schedules.
  • Health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional business partners.
  • Strong data and analytical skills.
  • System experience with Model N Flex GP, Flex RM, and Helix.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior knowledge of Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), Non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (NFAMP) and Federal Ceiling Price (FCP) calculations a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the end-to-end calculation of quarterly Non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (NFAMP) and annual Federal Ceiling Price (FCP) in accordance with the statutory time frames outlined in the Veterans Health Care Act of 1992.
  • Process payments related to Tricare, Industrial Funding Fee (IFF), Medicare Part D Coverage Gap (CG), and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), including CG Part D redesigned Manufacturer Discount Program (MDP), Maximum Fair Price (MFP), and Inflation Rebate Programs for Medicare Part B and Part D.
  • Provide support for ancillary contract activities related to Federal Supply Schedule, including Tricare, Blanket Purchase Agreements, Uniform Formular agreements.
  • Assist in creating/updating WPDs for all processes.
  • Perform calculation of Quarterly/Annual NFAMP and FCP.
  • Analyze Tracking Customers per product.
  • Process payment calculations accurately and on-time related to Tricare, Industrial Funding Fee (IFF), Manufacturer Discount Program (MDP), Coverage Gap (CG), and Inflation Penalties for Part B and D.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis on pricing results as requested by Finance or the Business Unit(s); analyze and document financial and other supporting data related to NFAMP and FCP.
  • Assist Finance with questions concerning payment tracking, documentation, and accruals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners and internal/external stakeholders to support pricing, payment, and reporting activities.
