Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, immunology, microbiology, or a related scientific field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 1 year of related experience required.
  • Attention to detail; ability to work on a team

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform daily sample enrollment and documentation activities, including adding new donations into study databases and charting Index testing results in accordance with established research protocols.
  • Review laboratory notifications applying scientific judgment to determine required sample actions and ensure timely follow-up consistent with study requirements.
  • Organize and prepare charting lists, shipping forms, and test result packets to support accurate study documentation.
  • Enter and validate laboratory test results and received dates reconciling missing, pending or inconsistent data through coordination with laboratory partners.
  • Generate routine research reports (Test Result Summary Report (TRSR)/reentry), update tracking tools, and prepare cases for secondary review.
  • Communicate delays, missing results, and reactive or positive findings; troubleshoot routine database or documentation issues within defined guidelines.
