About The Position

The Financial Analyst serves as the primary on-site finance resource supporting plant operations through financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and accounting activities. This role partners closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights, support operational decision-making, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure financial accuracy and compliance within the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 1-3 years of related finance or accounting experience
  • 1-3 years previous experience within a manufacturing environment
  • 1-3 years supporting budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting activities
  • 1-3 years working within fast-paced, evolving environments with multiple competing priorities
  • 1-3 years proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic PowerPoint skills
  • 1-3 years with ERP and financial systems

Responsibilities

  • Partner with plant leadership and operations teams to translate financial data into actionable insights and support continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives
  • Assist with monthly forecasting activities and development of the annual operating budget
  • Support month-end close activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting
  • Report, monitor, and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to measure operational and financial performance
  • Monitor inventory transactions and analyze material variances to support inventory accuracy and operational improvements
  • Review, code, and approve invoices while ensuring proper expense accruals and adherence to budget expectations
  • Conduct detailed general ledger expense analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Analyze customer and product sales, margins, and profitability to support business strategies and financial results
  • Review obsolete and excess inventory and partner with supply chain teams regarding disposition recommendations
  • Gather and maintain receipts and documentation for PCard transactions
  • Review purchase order logs and communicate with plant personnel regarding order completion status
  • Update and maintain standard costs and bills of materials (BOMs) as necessary
