About The Position

Reporting to the Manager Financial Operations, the Analyst – Financial Operations will primarily support the firm’s traders, as well as process and communicate fixed-income and equity trades to our trustee. In addition, the analyst will manage treasury activities on rotation. The ideal candidate will have developed his/her sense of priorities, be rigorous and will be able to work efficiently under pressure. TCC offers a complex financial environment in which the candidate will be able to develop an in-depth understanding of the operational processes tied to the trade lifecycle. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, administration or relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Bilingualism (English and French): This position requires bilingualism at the professional level to provide support to clients and employees located outside of Quebec or who require services in a language other than French.
  • Well-organized and ability to perform various tasks at once.

Responsibilities

  • Apply the various processes tied to settling fixed-income and equity trades.
  • Ensure the integrity of systems data in order to provide high-quality management information to the business units responsible for the investment.
  • Play a proactive role with the trustee and various counterparties in trade settlement.
  • Stay abreast of the various technicalities of international markets.
  • Support traders.
  • Reconcile transactions, cash balances and positions between our internal systems and our different custodians.
  • Manage treasury activities and cash balances in different funds/accounts to avoid overdrafts.
  • Recommend improvements to procedures and help implement them.
