About The Position

The role will involve offering corporate finance guidance to the bank's clients and potential clients. This includes recognizing, organizing, promoting, and carrying out value-added corporate finance solutions for our clients. As an Analyst - Financial Advisory and Solutions, you will be successful at contributing to the financial performance of Financial Advisory & Solutions. Contribution to risk assessment/management skills, as measured by quality of analysis of proposed transactions, and proposed risk-mitigating credit structures and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, accounting or related field, with some commercial experience preferred.
• Strong excel & modeling skills, formatting / power point skills, and business writing skills.
• Experience with LBO models, discounted cash flow and other valuation methods.
• Experience with structuring (including knowledge and understanding of credit).
• General knowledge of capital markets, accounting, legal and tax.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of S&P and Moody’s ratings methodologies is a plus.
• Accounting experience (CPA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform, and over time, lead preparation of various capital structuring analyses, including rating analysis, cost of capital analysis, liquidity stress tests and peer benchmarking
• Present capital structuring advice to clients and prospects, and over time lead discussions with clients/prospects’ CFOs/treasurers
• Participate in, and over time, lead the origination and execution of tailored structured solution transactions for our clients including: Identifying clients’ unique financing needs, Structuring tailored solutions, Preparing and presenting marketing materials, Preparing term sheets, Negotiating terms, Legal documentation, Internal credit applications & other approvals
