About The Position

The Financial Analyst, Finance Strategy & Performance supports forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis, performance reporting, and strategic decision support across Finance. The role analyzes financial and operational data, identifies trends and business drivers, and translates findings into clear, actionable insights. The Financial Analyst builds and maintains financial models, reporting tools, and repeatable processes that improve the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of analysis. The role partners with finance and business teams to support monthly performance reviews, forecasts, annual planning, and cross-functional initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses of revenue, gross profit, margin, forecast, customer, product, pricing, and sales performance.
  • Gather, validate, reconcile, and organize financial and operational data to support accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Analyze actual results against plan, forecast, and prior periods; identify key variances, risks, and opportunities; and summarize the underlying business drivers.
  • Prepare financial reports, presentations, and supporting schedules for monthly business reviews, forecasts, annual planning, and management decision-making.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives through data analysis, research, tracking, and documentation.
  • Maintain workplans, assumptions, milestones, decisions, and action items for assigned workstreams.
  • Help measure initiative outcomes and incorporate lessons into ongoing reporting and processes.
  • Document processes and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or reduce manual and duplicative work.
  • Work effectively with team members and business partners to deliver accurate, timely analysis.
  • Communicate progress, issues, and data limitations clearly and escalate when appropriate.
  • Build knowledge of Finance, business drivers, systems, and analytical best practices.
  • Incorporate feedback and continuously improve analytical quality and stakeholder communication.
