About The Position

The Analyst, Finance HQ supports the financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and month-end close processes for Fresh’s headquarters and central functions. Reporting to the Associate Director, FP&A, this role works closely with HQ departments, including Marketing, PR, Creative, HR, and other corporate functions, as well as Accounting and the broader Finance team, to help ensure financial accuracy, provide meaningful analysis, and support day-to-day business decision-making. This position is well suited for a detail-oriented finance professional who is comfortable working across multiple processes and stakeholders, and who brings a strong analytical mindset, sound financial discipline, and a continuous improvement approach.

Requirements

  • 1–4+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, accounting-related finance roles, or business analysis, preferably within a corporate, consumer goods, retail, or multi-market environment.
  • A strong ability and genuine interest in connecting financial performance to business performance, and in translating analysis into clear conclusions, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • The motivation to explore, influence, and help improve financial performance through thoughtful analysis and business partnership.
  • Ability to communicate the story behind the numbers.
  • Curiosity and critical thinking, with the ability to look beyond reported results to understand the underlying business drivers, such as campaign plans, organizational changes, and other operational factors.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and month-end close processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work across functions.
  • An interest in process improvement and continuous learning.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools such as AX, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan, Power BI, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools or emerging technologies is preferred, with an interest in applying them to improve reporting, analysis, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and month-end processes, including month-end close, actuals reporting, annual close, budget planning, and latest estimates.
  • Prepare data and initial analyses to support the monthly close review process and monthly reviews with HQ departments, including Marketing, PR, Creative, HR, and other corporate functions, with a focus on tracking accruals and compiling actuals analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure accuracy and integrity of data used in financial records and reported results.
  • Assist in the monitoring and analysis of indirect purchasing activities and help ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Help identify key operating metrics for each function and support the development of dashboards, bridge reporting, and analyses to monitor performance and identify cost efficiency opportunities.
  • Participate in building collaborative and trusted working relationships across HQ departments and other functions within Fresh.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses, both in response to management requests and proactively, to assess business operations and support recommendations for actions and controls.
  • Contribute to efforts to improve and simplify processes while helping identify risks and opportunities that may influence investment and spending decisions.
  • Assist in identifying areas for process enhancement and support the implementation of practical solutions.
