About The Position

The Analyst - Field Planning supports service work, service administration, field planning, trouble calls, and stock room processes. The role assists the Supervisor C&M with organizing and prioritizing daily jobs and crew assignments and independently performs routine planning activities. It also provides support in a designated role under the Storm Emergency Plan. The position is based in Rochester, New York, and requires working in the office five days a week.

Requirements

At least 2 years of related experience.
Computer skills with CMS, MS Word and Excel spreadsheets, CSS, WMS, and MMS.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of engineering and construction policies and procedures.
Knowledge of field construction and maintenance.
Knowledge of company construction standards, field operating procedures, and safety rules.
Knowledge of gas and electric design sketches.
Familiarity with federal and state laws regarding hazardous waste.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Assist the Supervisor C&M with assigning daily jobs and crew assignments; submit and maintain Claims and employee training files; and follow up with Energy Control Centers regarding daily crew assignments.
Respond to customer requests regarding jobs; assist the Supervisor C&M in monitoring and documenting job progress in the Work Management System (WMS); use the equipment database to reserve specialized equipment; and resolve customer requests.
Access and track work requests in progress on WMS and provide support during emergencies and outages.
