The Hardware Customer Support Engineer (CSE) plays a key role in providing technical and sustainment support for engine hardware by interfacing with the customer, program office, Field Service Engineer/Representative, and engineering organization in support of our warfighter. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing technical knowledge of gas turbine operation
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering or related
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to Technical Field Questions (Action Requests)
  • Support Engineering Investigations (Deficiency Reports)
  • Technical Maintenance Manual Data Creation/Updates/Interpretation
  • Author technical presentations and Field Information Notices as required
  • Maintenance Awareness Briefings
  • Engineering Changes /Design Reviews for Sustainment Impacts
  • Field Implementation / Retrofit Planning / Service Test Letters
  • Support Technical Conferences as needed
  • Production Quality Notification (QN) and Escape (6015) support
  • Ability to travel up to 10% mostly to our F135 Field Sites
