The Data Analyst & Quantitative Research Lead is responsible for supporting Northern physicians, SLFNHA care providers, or other health care providers in their research planning, data analysis plan, retrieving and cleaning data, analysis and interpretation of data and knowledge translation (community-facing reports, manuscripts). The ideal candidate for this role can: leverage their professional expertise in health or social services research, analyze with precision, communicate effectively, organize with attention to detail, adapt to change, has great understanding of research design and principles of epidemiology, excel in technical proficiency with data analysis tools, and can translate data into actionable communications. The Data Analyst focuses on translating research ideas into rigorous research questions and data analysis plans. They collaborate with our research assistant, research manager, and other SLFNHA staff supporting research to align data processes and conduct community needs assessments, while also ensuring accountability through effective reporting in partnership with the research manager.
