About The Position

OMNIA Partners has become the largest and most experienced purchasing organization for public and private sector markets by delivering unparalleled scale and solutions. Through further organic growth and strategic acquisitions, OMNIA Partners will continue to drive economies of scale to execute more contracts, in more verticals, with transparent, value-driven pricing for our membership of companies. Our success and growth have been unparalleled in this space. At the core of our success is a high energy, talented staff with diverse skills and a unified focus on delivering value and an emphasis on creativity, strategic thinking, and execution. We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Reporting & Analytics team. The person in this role will turn data into insight — going beyond producing accurate, timely reports to uncover the trends, patterns, and opportunities that help internal stakeholders across the organization make better decisions. Day-to-day work includes ad-hoc data requests, recurring report distribution, and dashboard maintenance, and the successful candidate will approach each one by asking what the data is really saying and why it matters to the business. This role calls for curiosity and a flexible approach to analysis: the right person is comfortable moving between SQL, Tableau, Excel, and AI tools to explore data, test ideas, and get to answers faster. Strong communication skills are essential, as this person will need to translate data and analysis into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate is an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional who works well in a team setting, but is equally comfortable working independently and managing a queue of competing priorities. This is an entry-level position well suited to someone early in their analytics career who is eager to build hands-on skills in Tableau, SQL, and AI-assisted analysis.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now and in the future.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, as this person will need to translate data and analysis into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders across the business.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated professional who works well in a team setting, but is equally comfortable working independently and managing a queue of competing priorities.
  • Entry-level position well suited to someone early in their analytics career who is eager to build hands-on skills in Tableau, SQL, and AI-assisted analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable moving between SQL, Tableau, Excel, and AI tools to explore data, test ideas, and get to answers faster.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities, and turn those findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders
  • Leverage AI tools alongside traditional analytics tools to accelerate analysis — for example, to explore and summarize data, draft and troubleshoot SQL queries, and surface insights — while validating AI-generated outputs for accuracy
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting and data requests from across the organization, going beyond the numbers to identify key takeaways, while balancing multiple open requests and prioritizing based on urgency and impact
  • Pull and distribute recurring reports such as spend and revenue summaries, account lists, and territory overviews, highlighting notable changes and what is driving them
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Tableau dashboards, including updating calculation logic, adding new views or breakouts, and resolving data quality or duplicate-record issues
  • Build new Tableau reports and dashboard enhancements that help stakeholders quickly see what is happening in the business and why
  • Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, join, and validate data from internal systems and the organization's data warehouse, and to answer business questions
  • Use Excel, including pivot tables and lookup formulas, to analyze, summarize, and present data for stakeholders
  • Stay current on emerging analytics and AI capabilities, and look for opportunities to apply new tools and techniques to improve how the team works
  • Document reporting processes and dashboard logic to support consistency and knowledge transfer
  • Meet with teams across the organization to understand their reporting needs and the business questions behind them, and translate those conversations into new or enhanced dashboards and analyses
