Position Summary The Internal Audit Recovery Analyst will be a key member of the Internal Audit Recovery team and will participate in the execution of financial recovery audits. This role will be responsible for basic auditing tasks including following standard audit procedures, documenting and creating recovery claims, identifying areas of opportunity for recovery dollars (including future savings), and corresponding with business partners (internal or external) as needed for validation or resolution of disputes both independently and under the supervision of more experienced auditors. The primary focus of this position will be Retail Lease Auditing. The Analyst will be responsible for the identification, negotiation, settlement and collection of overpayments uncovered during occupancy audits of CVS retail store leases. The Analyst may also assist the team in performing other recovery audits, including but not limited to, other contract-based audits, promotional funding reviews, and inventory audits. This will be a hybrid role, with office attendance currently one day a week (Wednesday or as requested by team leadership). There may be up to 5% travel involved in the role.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience with computer applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of financial reconciliations
  • Ability to understand common legal terms

Nice To Haves

  • Lease Audit, Lease Accounting, Lease Administration, Contract Compliance, or other audit or accounting experience
  • Experience negotiating with vendors and/or landlords to settle audit claims
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple projects to meet financial targets
  • Experience with TRIRIGA, ImageSilo, and/or Salesforce
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities
