About The Position

This position is for our Denver, Colorado Commercial Banking team, following a three-month Training Program in Chicago, Illinois. The Commercial Banking Training Program is designed to develop top talent for careers in providing high-quality commercial banking services to middle market companies. The program includes a classroom phase covering accounting, finance, credit analysis, business writing, financial modeling, and computer skills, followed by practical experience with various lending groups. Upon completion, placement is on the Commercial Banking team in Denver, Colorado. The program aims to equip individuals with skills in sales, professional branding, and negotiation, while providing real-world experience with seasoned bankers. Participants will gain in-depth product knowledge in financing, treasury management, private banking, foreign exchange, and derivatives. Individuals are full-time employees eligible for benefits, with the first 24 months dedicated to training.

Requirements

• College degree required, with minimum of two classes of accounting
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work individually and within teams
• Critical thinking, writing and analytical skills combined with strong interpersonal skills
• Work ethic, commitment to clients, employees and the communities we serve
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word required
• Analytical skills and spreadsheet experience with a spreading software program like Moody's is a plus
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit
