  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the medical device, life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting biological testing, quality, regulatory, laboratory operations, or related technical functions is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate biological testing activities, including bioburden, sterility, biocompatibility, and other testing programs performed by external third-party laboratories, supporting both routine quality activities and R&D projects.
  • Coordinate and monitor scheduled laboratory audits to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain testing protocols, study plans, and final laboratory reports in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze laboratory data, identify trends, and support investigations into test results and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate purchase requisitions and purchase orders for external laboratory testing services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Quality) to coordinate sample collection, preparation, and shipment for testing.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of sterilization, biocompatibility, and related regulatory standards, identifying process improvement opportunities and presenting recommendations.
  • Ensure testing activities and documentation comply with regulatory requirements, international standards, internal procedures, and quality system requirements.
  • Perform gap analyses to evaluate compliance with regulations, standards, and internal processes, and support corrective action implementation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory testing efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve systems, workflows, and operational processes related to Biological Sciences.
