About The Position

Build a private credit platform alongside its senior leaders—with meaningful ownership from day one and growth driven by your contribution. Our client is a New York investment and asset-management platform focused on auto loans and leases. This is a hands-on portfolio operations and analytics role with investment-analysis exposure, not a pure deal-execution seat. Exceptional candidates with relevant analyst experience may join at Associate level within the posted compensation range.

Requirements

Relevant analytical experience in structured finance, asset-backed or consumer credit, portfolio analytics, financial-services operations, investment banking, or a comparable field.
Mortgage, equipment-finance, and other asset-backed backgrounds can transfer.
We also welcome high-upside graduates with strong academics in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related field, plus substantive analytical internships, research, or projects.
Prior servicing experience is not essential.
Advanced Excel and the ability to understand and build models—not just populate templates.
Clear communication, practical business judgment, accurate execution, and the ability to clarify an ambiguous problem and work through it independently.

Nice To Haves

SQL or Python is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

Turn loan and lease data into clear portfolio reporting; investigate payment trends, exceptions, and discrepancies.
Support servicer oversight, reconcile data and cash flows, research contract questions, and follow issues through to resolution.
Build Excel models, reports, and tools from scratch; use AI thoughtfully to improve research, analysis, and workflows.
Support investor reporting, materials, and CRM follow-through.
Expect roughly 80% portfolio operations and analytics and 20% investor-relations support.
