Analyst, AI Innovation Lab

Area15New York, NY
Onsite

About The Position

AREA15 is an immersive entertainment and event destination that blends art and music in a dynamic environment. We are a hub for creativity, innovation, and unique experiences. Join us and be part of a team that thrives on imagination and passion. The Analyst is the intelligence engine of the Fisher Brothers AI Innovation Lab. Your job is to make sure the Lab is always working on the right things — and to prove that the things it has already built are delivering real value. You will be embedded across Fisher Brothers' business units — real estate, leasing, cleaning services, finance, legal, and HR – including AREA15, running structured discovery sessions with department heads and operators to map workflows, quantify manual time and cost, and surface the processes most ready for AI-powered automation. You translate what you find into a scored, ranked opportunity pipeline that feeds the PM's build backlog. Once tools are deployed, you own the measurement side: tracking outcomes, reporting ROI to business unit owners and company leadership, and keeping the pipeline fresh with the next round of discovery. You are the person who makes the Lab's value visible to the rest of the organization. This role requires equal parts analytical rigor and interpersonal skill. You need to be trusted by department heads who have never had a technology team ask to sit in on their workflows — and credible enough to translate what you see into a business case the CTO and COO will act on.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • Experience working inside a real estate company, professional services firm, or diversified operating business
  • Exposure to AI tools, process automation, or RPA — you don't need to be a builder, but you need to understand what is and isn't buildable
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or basic BI platforms
  • Background in management consulting, internal strategy, or operational excellence programs
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the problems are rarely fully defined upfront
  • 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, operations analyst, management consultant, or process improvement role
  • Demonstrated ability to map complex business workflows and identify inefficiencies — and to communicate those findings clearly to both operators and executives
  • Strong quantitative skills: comfortable building a business case, estimating ROI, and working with data to prove or disprove a hypothesis
  • Excellent interviewing and facilitation skills — able to build trust quickly with department heads and extract actionable insight from a 60-minute conversation
  • Highly organized and disciplined with documentation — your pipeline and notes are the memory of the Lab
  • Familiarity with project or work management tools (Notion, Linear, Airtable, or similar)
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured 60-to-90-minute discovery sessions with business unit owners and operators across Fisher Brothers — real estate, leasing, cleaning services, finance, legal, and HR
  • Map current workflows end-to-end: document steps, decision points, handoffs, systems used, and time spent at each stage
  • Identify processes that are manual, repetitive, error-prone, or dependent on institutional knowledge that is not systematized
  • Quantify the cost of each identified process: hours per week, fully-loaded labor cost, error rate, and downstream business impact
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts in each business unit — you are the Lab's primary face to the operating teams
  • Score every identified opportunity on four dimensions: ROI potential (40%), build speed (30%), data readiness (20%), and strategic fit (10%)
  • Maintain the Lab's live opportunity pipeline in the shared project management tool — updated weekly, ranked by total score, and accessible to the PM and Lab Director
  • Flag opportunities where data access is a blocker and work with the PM and IT to resolve it before the opportunity reaches sprint consideration
  • Present the ranked pipeline to the PM weekly; escalate exceptional findings directly to the Lab Director
  • Run a full discovery refresh across all business units quarterly to surface new opportunities and update scores on existing ones
  • Remain available to the PM and Vibe Coding Engineer during active sprints for clarifying questions about the original workflow analysis or business unit context
  • Attend mid-sprint reviews with business unit owners as needed — you often know the workflow better than anyone else in the room
  • Document any workflow nuances or edge cases that surface during sprint reviews and ensure they are captured in the PM's spec before hardening begins
  • Define success metrics for every deployed tool at the time of spec — in partnership with the PM and the business unit owner — before the sprint begins
  • Track outcomes post-deployment for every live tool: hours saved per week, cost reduced, error rate improvement, process cycle time, or revenue influenced
  • Report outcomes to the business unit owner monthly and to the Lab Director and Global CTO quarterly
  • Contribute the outcome data and case studies to the Lab's annual company-wide ROI report
  • Identify deployed tools that are performing at a level that suggests venture or product potential — flag these to the Lab Director
  • Stay current on AI tools, agentic platforms, and automation capabilities relevant to the types of workflows Fisher Brothers operates
  • Proactively bring new tool capabilities to the PM's attention when they unlock opportunities that were previously scored as low on build speed or data readiness
  • Research how peer companies in real estate, property services, and professional services are applying AI to operational workflows — share relevant findings with the team.
  • Respond to time sensitive matters.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
