About The Position

The Analyst, Accounting and Reporting is responsible for monthly and quarterly accounting for stock-based compensation, lease accounting, equity investments, and other areas as needed. The role also supports quarter-end reporting deliverables and reports to the Manager, Consolidations. This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to work onsite at PHINIA’s World Headquarters in Auburn Hills three days per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is preferred.
• CPA or CPA eligibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Highly driven and self-starting.

Nice To Haves

• MBA.
• SEC reporting experience.
• Public accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting for stock-based compensation, earnings per share, lease accounting, equity investments, and other areas as needed.
• Prepare related journal entries, footnotes, reconciliations, and executive reporting.
• Support quarter-end financial reporting disclosures, including the external press release and external earnings call deck and script.
• Support the consolidations process as needed.
• Assist with various projects and prepare ad-hoc reports.
