About The Position

In this on-site role, the Finance Analyst provides Financial/Accounting support for the client SRG/MDS business, specifically Infection Prevention Manufacturing Plant in EL Paso, TX. This includes providing financial support and leadership to Finance and Operations leaders, playing a key role in establishing and achieving financial objectives and formulating and executing operations strategies. The position plays a critical role in managing manufacturing cost performance and driving continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant progressive accounting / finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUPS, etc.).
  • ERP experience is necessary; specifically, SAP experience is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well with management of all levels and disciplines.
  • Knowledge of corporate accounting policies and procedures.
  • Self-driven, proactive and seeks continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed, challenging environment with strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing operations, product costing, manufacturing variances and inventory control, financial analysis, and budgeting & forecasting experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
  • Ensure accurate account reconciliations and financial integrity within SAP.
  • Perform detailed costing analysis, including standard cost, review, and maintenance.
  • Support recurring financial reports, summarizing in a timely manner, identifying key drivers, and working with cross-departmental teams to lead change through KPI management.
  • Support annual budget and rolling forecast process, integrating operational and cost assumptions.
  • Monitor performance on a weekly & monthly basis vs latest projection cycle and annual budget.
  • Support internal and external SOX Audits.
  • Drives continuous financial improvement through preparation/review of business cases, inventory analysis, new product and discontinuance analysis, and spending analysis.
  • Ensures that financial reports and records are prepared in compliance with US GAAP and client financial policies.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required
