About The Position

Join a dynamic medical device leader as an Analyst 2, Demand & Supply Chain Planning. This on-site contract role in Irvine, CA is essential to driving demand planning, inventory management, data integrity, and business process excellence. You’ll play a pivotal part in system integrations and transformation efforts, collaborating across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and IT teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory, procurement, or related analytical roles
  • Expertise in inventory management, reconciliation, receiving, and transaction accuracy
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; proven ability to work cross-functionally

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or OMP
  • Background in manufacturing, life sciences, or medical device industries
  • Previous involvement in system implementations and business process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Drive demand planning by collecting, validating, and analyzing data to support accurate forecasting and trend analysis
  • Maintain inventory health through monitoring, reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies across internal and external sites
  • Support master data governance by ensuring accuracy and reliability of ERP and planning system inputs
  • Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to inform business decisions
  • Assist with ERP and supply chain system implementation, including user acceptance testing, data migration, and process documentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, communicate risks, and support process improvements
  • Participate in continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance planning and operational efficiency
  • Engage in new product introduction, product lifecycle management, and integration projects
